Elevation 10,378 Ft

We decided to hit the Sandia Mountains on Friday and ride the tram to the top with the possibility of catching a little lunch 10,000 ft up...

Almost there...hoping we wouldn't be up in a cloud!

Apparently not too excited...

Waiting for the tram so we can start our journey up...

We made it. I didn't get to take any pics on the way up since I was holding Charlie but I made up for it on the way down.

Long way down...

The temperature was about 68 degrees at the peak and Henry complained he was cold the minute we stepped off of the tram...thankfully he got over that pretty quick...and even was willing to smile for Momma!

View from the top...

The tram's mechanics...one car goes up while the other goes down, meeting in the middle.

Charlie wasn't in the mood for pics..

More from the top!

Henry and Daddy

Looking out over city...it was pretty hazy...

Daddy's work is never done...

Making Momma nervous...

But not as nervous as this one is making her...

Our Family (too bad Daddy was still on the phone)

Now, Charlie finds the view interesting...perfect timing!

Lunch with a view...

Enjoying a burger!

With G &G!

Tackling the stairs...HIMSELF!

One last look from the top before heading down...

Checking out the view...

Don't look down...

One of the towers we climbed over in the tram...

Nemo (as the tram operator called this rock)...at least it does look like a fish with a mouth, tail, and side fin ...

Charlie fell asleep shortly after getting on the tram to come down the mountain...

One last look up...

Cacti

One BIG rock!
