Garden Update

I had to take a break from vacation pictures to share a garden update. It is growing so fast that if I don't share these pictures I took when we returned from Albuquerque now they will be outdated by the time I do. Thankfully, it rained while we were gone so the plants did not bake in the hot, hot sun all day without a drink.

Zucchini, Butternut Squash, Strawberries, and Mini Pumpkins (the grass has been removed...again)

We have many small cucs and have been able to pick 4 to date...with more that will be ready by tomorrow.

The beans have bounced back and have lots of purple flowers with little beans starting behind them...

Broccoli...not sure we will every have any to eat...

Picked this today...

Cucs and Beans...getting bigger each day!

My 5 tomato plants that look like one massive plant!

Big pumpkins...

Watermelon (with lots of buds)

Sunflower

Getting ready to bloom...

Our yard before Daddy mowed yesterday...now it looks great, the grass (like quack grass seems to be spreading and the giant dirt spot I made from weeding is getting smaller plus we have new grass coming up under the apple tree...now just to find the time to fill in some more areas...)

Today's harvest! (I swear that zucchini grew 3 inches last night)

Henry with yesterday's "pickle" as he called it.

Our first cucumber of the season...Henry couldn't wait to eat it...so he did...

The whole thing...didn't save a bite for Momma even.

YUM!

Two of the three cucs from today are already gone...guess we should save the third for Daddy and Charlie to share!!
